Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Boris Orlov (ranked 1945 p4p, 213 weight class) and Harry Baals (ranked 2815 p4p, 0 weight class). Orlov comes to the cage accompanied by K.A.B.O.S.H. - God Of War. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 0 losses; Boris Orlov! And in the blue corner, fighting out of St Petersburg, with a TWGC record of 7 wins and 1 losses; Harry Baals! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Orlov gets a clinch. Orlov drops down looking for an ankle pick but Baals pulls his leg out and moves away.

My spies in Yaj's MMA Academy inform me that Baals has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Orlov is thwarting Baals's attempts to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Orlov stalling.
That's twelve minutes gone in the round. Baals is looking for a sweep. Orlov is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Orlov perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Baals wants to get back to full guard. Baals has a hand on Orlov's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Orlov takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Score +3 for passing guard: Orlov (12) vs (3) Baals Orlov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Baals is the more experienced fighter here and he's going to need to draw on some of that experience if he's going to pull this one out the bag.
