The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Allen has closed the distance and engaged Bateman in a clinch.
Bateman tries for a takedown but Allen manages to get underhooks.
Allen scores with a nice hook to the head.

Allen ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Allen no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bateman lands a big shot there that rocks Allen but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The cut above James Allen's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Bateman postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Allen bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Bateman and the fight is over!

It looks like Abdullah Dawsari has been cut.

Barbosa throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dawsari stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Dawsari feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Dawsari is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Barbosa has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Dawsari is looking to defend but Barbosa has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Dawsari! Barbosa pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Dawsari taps out and this one is all over!
