The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribera jabs Wackson right on the nose. Wackson blinks but takes it well.
Horrible takedown attempt by Wackson or perhaps it was just good defense by Ribera, which made it look bad.

Wackson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Wackson controls the position.

Wackson is trying to get an arm triangle but Ribera is defending well.

Wackson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Wackson takes a little break here. Ribera wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Wackson has control of Ribera's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ribera regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Petrov cracks Slingin with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Petrov has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Slingin to stand back up!
Slingin is still on wobbly legs! Can Petrov finish him?
Petrov lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Slingin head around and knocks him out cold! Petrov hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vasil Petrov!
Vasil Petrov was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
