The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rose dodges the punch combination from Hartgrave.
William Rose seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rose misses with a combination
and Hartgrave counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rose's guard now. Hartgrave throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Hartgrave controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Hartgrave passes Rose's left leg - he's now in half guard. Hartgrave passes to full mount!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dat looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Dat persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing. Dat fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jones scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Dat shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Snatch Dat. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dat shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Dat doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nagata throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Nagata looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Fantango.
Fantango fails in his attempt to clinch. Nagata drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Fantango throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Nagata prevents Fantango from getting back to his feet. Fantango is pulling down on Nagata's head to control his posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fantango looking to control.
Fantango seems keen to control Nagata's posture. Fantango is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Fantango pulls Nagata in to control the position. Nagata preventing the sweep. Nagata feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Nagata trying to control but Fantango is working from the bottom. Fantango has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Nagata off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Nagata scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The crowd are loving this. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Fantango has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nagata is working away from the top position though. Nagata has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Fantango pushes Nagata away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Nagata gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Nagata cracks Fantango with an elbow. That is naaassty. Fantango taking a bit of punishment here - Nagata scoring with strikes. Fantango is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Nagata wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fantango keeps working. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fantango is trying to control Nagata's posture but Nagata avoids it. Fantango wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Raul Fantango will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Nagata closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fantango is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Fantango gets back to full guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paskiainen gets in close and instigates a clinch. Paskiainen ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Paskiainen no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Paskiainen can't keep his opponent in guard - Cristophe advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Cristophe trying to control the action but Paskiainen is working from the bottom. Cristophe is working for a submission of some sort.

Paskiainen is controlling an arm, preventing Cristophe from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Maleh. Spitz shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Maleh pinned against the cage. Maleh gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Maleh misses with an uppercut. Spitz saw that one coming. Spitz fails to land the takedown. The fight stays on the outside here - Spitz looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Spitz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Abdullah Maleh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gustavo Spitz. Maleh moves into range and clinches up with Spitz. Maleh breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Maleh tries to bum rush Spitz with a series of wild strikes but Spitz uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Spitz displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Maleh throws out the jab. Maleh misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Maleh fails with a takedown attempt. Maleh circles away from the clinch attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Maleh tries to land a leg kick but Spitz saw it coming and moves away.
Maleh throws a nice inside leg kick. A nice leg kick lands there from Spitz. Gustavo Spitz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Spitz fails to land the takedown. Spitz tries for a takedown but Maleh circles away easily and Maleh counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Spitz looks gassed! Maleh rushes Spitz and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spitz tries to pull guard but Maleh holds him up against the cage and eventually Spitz drops back down to his feet.
