Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zuillnic Canto (ranked 815 p4p, 118 weight class) and Bull Mfer (ranked 864 p4p, 128 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Zuillnic Canto has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Zuillnic Canto seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Zuillnic Canto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Bull Mfer! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Canto darts in looking for a takedown but Mfer gets double underhooks and turns Canto into the cage. Zuillnic Canto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Canto shoots for a takedown but Mfer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Mfer throws a lazy right hand but Canto sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Mfer misses with an uppercut. Mfer looks to land a right hand but Canto moved out of range. The crowd cheers as Mfer lands an impressive looking overhand right. Canto doesn't seem phased though. Canto shoots in and drives through. Mfer sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zuillnic Canto. That's going to take a lot out of him. Canto changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mfer tries to avoid it but Canto manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mfer to the ground. Mfer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mfer ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Mfer is looking to score with low kicks. Mfer looks to land a left hand but Canto moved out of range nicely. Canto goes for a double leg but Mfer avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mfer continues to drive forward. Mfer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mfer wants it to stay on the feet. Mfer buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Canto looks for a takedown but Mfer sprawls well. Canto shoots and misses and Mfer counters with a nice body kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mfer defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Canto. Canto is breathing heavily. Canto darts in looking for a takedown but Mfer gets double underhooks and turns Canto into the cage. Canto tries for a takedown but Mfer circles away easily and Mfer counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mfer is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
It looks like Zuillnic Canto has been cut. Canto closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mfer to the mat! Mfer manages to get full guard. Canto won't allow Mfer to get back to his feet. Canto trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Mfer is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Still in half guard, Mfer seems content to control. Mfer seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Well, if Mfer is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Canto looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Mfer stands up out of the half guard. Mfer has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Canto drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mfer is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Canto has just dragged him back down to the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mfer tries to get back to half guard but can't. Both fighters take a look at the clock. Mfer can't do much from the bottom here. Canto is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mfer has escaped the position, nice work there. Canto looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Mfer is trying to buck Canto off. Canto working away. Canto is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mfer is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Mfer manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Canto is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mfer doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Canto. No, Mfer has managed to free his arm - good work. Mfer desperately trying to maintain half guard. Canto stops Mfer from getting back to his feet.

Canto tries to free his leg and advance position but Mfer is retaining full guard. Mfer wants to stand but Canto is controlling the position. Canto is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Mfer seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mfer wants to stand up but Canto is controlling him. Canto pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mfer is keeping the position for now.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mfer tries to score with a low kick but Canto moves his leg out of the way. Mfer throws a big shot that misses. Canto appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Mfer throws a nice inside leg kick. Mfer throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Mfer is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Canto. Mfer lands a nice hook to Canto's body. Canto takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Canto shoots in looking for a takedown but Mfer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Canto's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Bull Mfer seems to be getting the better of the standup. Mfer lands with a kick to the temple. Canto shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Canto moves out of range of the strikes. Canto goes for a double leg but Mfer avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mfer continues to drive forward.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Canto looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Mfer! Mfer sneaks out the side door and pushes Canto away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A solid leg kick lands there for Mfer.

Decent striking displayed by Mfer there. Canto gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Mfer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Canto is rocked! Are you kidding me?! Mfer ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Canto clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Perez moves away from the strike by Juntta. Juntta dodges the punch combination from Perez.

Juntta looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Juntta throws a head kick but Perez moves out of range.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Van Der Dusse misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Neckbreaker tries to sprawl but Van Der Dusse drives through with a takedown into half guard. Van Der Dusse throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Neckbreaker is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Punch Out Gym, so we'll see if he gets out of it. The fighters are battling for position here. Neckbreaker manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Neckbreaker looking for a sweep. Not yet Neckbreaker, not yet. Van Der Dusse stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Van Der Dusse is trying to drag Neckbreaker to the mat but Neckbreaker just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Neckbreaker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Neckbreaker lands a left and a right that send Van Der Dusse crashing to the mat, dazed. Neckbreaker thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Van Der Dusse is rocked! Neckbreaker lands with a good body shot. Van Der Dusse is still on wobbly legs! Can Neckbreaker finish him? Van Der Dusse looks up at the clock. Bad move! Neckbreaker lands a right hand from hell, dropping Van Der Dusse. Neckbreaker pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Phol lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Chaelsson drops his hands momentarily and Phol takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Phol throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Chaelsson with the counter takedown but Phol avoids it easily. Chaelsson shoots in and drives through. Phol sprawls well. Chaelsson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Chaelsson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Phol momentarily.
Chaelsson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Chaelsson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Phol punishes Chaelsson's body with a nice straight punch. Horrible takedown attempt by Chaelsson or perhaps it was just good defense by Phol, which made it look bad. Mfer Phol has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrick Chaelsson. Phol misses with a wild body shot. Phol has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gymi in the buildup to the fight. Phol holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garuda ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Pulkkinen waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Garuda. Garuda lands with a shot to the body. Garuda throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Pulkkinen connects with a high kick.
It looks like Mantak Garuda has been cut. Spude Pulkkinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pulkkinen misses with a left hand and Garuda counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Pulkkinen tries a low kick but Garuda avoids it. Pulkkinen throws a hook but Garuda blocks it. Pulkkinen dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Garuda thows a left - swing and a miss! Garuda jabs Pulkkinen to the body, keeping him at a distance. Pulkkinen throws an overhand right that lands on Garuda's shoulder, as Garuda tries to avoid the shot. Garuda fires out a quick counter leg kick but Pulkkinen just manages to avoid it. Pulkkinen throws a head kick but Garuda moves out of range.

Garuda pushes Pulkkinen back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Garuda drops Pulkkinen onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Pulkkinen is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet! Pulkkinen is still on wobbly legs! Can Garuda finish him? The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. A quick uppercut on the inside from Garuda. Garuda struggles to land a body shot inside as Pulkkinen controls his hands.

Mantak Garuda dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mantak Garuda's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A low kick from Pulkkinen misses and Garuda counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Pulkkinen seems to have recovered his senses. Garuda feints a jab and as Pulkkinen dips his head, Garuda unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Pulkkinen right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Pulkkinen falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Garuda smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Our winner, Mantak Garuda, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
