1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tony Battafucho! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cormier on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Cormier shoots for a takedown but Battafucho saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Battafucho lands the left hand. Cormier has a takedown stuffed. Cormier could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Battafucho throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cormier was covering up waiting for the punch and Battafucho finishes the takedown easily into guard. Cormier has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Battafucho off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Cormier has his takedown stuffed and Battafucho connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danny Cormier. That's going to take a lot out of him. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cormier with a lazy takedown attempt and Battafucho cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Battafucho connects with a looping right hand.
Cormier is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Battafucho is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Battafucho cracks Cormier with an open hand slap. Cormier fails with the takedown and Cormier takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Cormier is rocked! Battafucho has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Battafucho fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Cormier square on the jaw! Damn, Cormier is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koutalianos stuffs the takedown attempt from Medvedevs. Medvedevs gets slowly back to his feet. Koutalianos closes the distance and pushes Medvedevs back into the cage. Koutalianos just leaning against Medvedevs, taking a breather. Medvedevs is working for takedown but Koutalianos is calmly controlling the position for now. Medvedevs looking to throw knees to the head but Koutalianos is blocking nicely.
Medvedevs manages to break the clinch.
Koutalianos shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Medvedevs makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Koutalianos shoots in but no luck this time. As Koutalianos backs off Medvedevs throws a huge counter combo but Koutalianos manages to avoid it all. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Koutalianos tries to clinch up.

Koutalianos stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Medvedevs. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Medvedevs. Bill Koutalianos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrejs Medvedevs. Medvedevs dives in and grabs Koutalianos's left leg, looking for a takedown. Koutalianos pushes down on Medvedevs's head and hops out. Koutalianos half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. The fight stays on the outside here - Medvedevs looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Koutalianos fails with the takedown. Medvedevs connects with a solid leg kick. Koutalianos takes the fight into the clinch. Medvedevs breaks from the clinch.

Medvedevs goes for a double leg but Koutalianos avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Koutalianos continues to drive forward. It looked like Koutalianos was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Medvedevs tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Medvedevs tries to keep at a distance but Koutalianos has taken the fight into the clinch. Koutalianos pushes off an throws an elbow but Medvedevs leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Medvedevs has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Koutalianos is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Medvedevs is trying to stall.
Koutalianos tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Medvedevs goes for a takedown in the clinch but Koutalianos prevents it.
Koutalianos drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Medvedevs gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Medvedevs jumps guard but Koutalianos turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Medvedevs is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Medvedevs tries to pull guard but Koutalianos holds him up against the cage and eventually Medvedevs drops back down to his feet.
We've been informed that Medvedevs has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Medvedevs is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Koutalianos pulls him back up using the underhooks. Medvedevs jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Koutalianos walks away with a smile on his face. Medvedevs gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Medvedevs fails to land with a series of punches.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Koutalianos. Medvedevs shrugs it off though. Medvedevs looks winded! Koutalianos fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Medvedevs to the ground. Koutalianos is now in Medvedevs's guard. Medvedevs wants to get back to his feet but Koutalianos passes into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Koutalianos prevents Medvedevs from improving his position. Koutalianos works his foot free and advances to mount. Koutalianos content just to control the position here. Medvedevs is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bill Koutalianos will probably get the nod. That's time! Koutalianos's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A good leg kick by Medvedevs. Medvedevs dives in and grabs Koutalianos's left leg, looking for a takedown. Koutalianos pushes down on Medvedevs's head and hops out. Koutalianos darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Medvedevs kicks off Koutalianos and gets to his feet. Medvedevs shoots for a double leg takedown but Koutalianos sprawls well. He's pushed Medvedevs's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Medvedevs shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. As Medvedevs backs away, Koutalianos returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Bill Koutalianos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrejs Medvedevs. Medvedevs shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Koutalianos but Koutalianos pushes him off and we're back to square one. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Koutalianos.
That's one minute gone in the round. Koutalianos gets a clinch. Koutalianos pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Medvedevs keeps the fight on the outside. Medvedevs misses with a wild combination.
As Medvedevs looks to move away, Koutalianos throws a big counter combo but Medvedevs just gets out of the way. Koutalianos shoots in for a takedown but Medvedevs shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Andrejs Medvedevs seems to be getting the better of the standup. Koutalianos scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Medvedevs throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Koutalianos fails in his attempt to clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Koutalianos tries to clinch but Medvedevs moves out of range. Medvedevs thows a body kick. Koutalianos tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Bill Koutalianos is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Medvedevs shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Koutalianos avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Medvedevs in side control lands a decent elbow. Koutalianos seems a little lost for a moment, as Medvedevs dominates the positioning. Medvedevs trying to control the action but Koutalianos is working from the bottom. Medvedevs working away. Medvedevs stands up. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Koutalianos gets tackled into the cage by Medvedevs. Medvedevs maintains the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrejs Medvedevs showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

"Ole!" shouts Koutalianos as he jumps to the side. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Medvedevs. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Medvedevs throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Koutalianos's waist but Koutalianos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Medvedevs off to one side. Bill Koutalianos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrejs Medvedevs. A punch combination from Medvedevs misses. Koutalianos drops down looking for a counter takedown but Medvedevs sprawls and moves away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Medvedevs throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Koutalianos is trying to stand back up but Medvedevs is controlling him
That's three minutes gone in the round. Well, if Medvedevs is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Koutalianos is staying active underneath Medvedevs, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Koutalianos is looking to control Medvedevs's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Koutalianos avoid being mounted? Medvedevs is looking for a kimura here.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Medvedevs tries for a takedown but Koutalianos sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Horrible takedown attempt by Medvedevs or perhaps it was just good defense by Koutalianos, which made it look bad. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The fight moves into the clinch position.

It looks like Jon Jones has been cut. Ignacio definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Ignacio connects with a superb combination that knocks Jones out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Ignacio before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Jones !

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Happy takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Happy shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Richter scores with a body shot.

Happy has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Richter looks to land a right hand but Happy moved out of range. Richter lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Hans Richter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice shot by Richter. Richter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've been told by Richter's head coaches at Doom's Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Richter stuffs the takedown attempt from Happy. Happy gets slowly back to his feet. Richter was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Richter feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Happys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! A right-left combo lands from Richter. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Richter smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Richter is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Richter thumps Happy with a low kick. Richter cracks the inside of Happy's front leg. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Richter.
Happy has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Richter. Nice takedown defense from Richter. No joy for Happy on that attempt. Happy walks into a stiff left hand from Richter.
That's one minute gone in the round. Happy moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Richter connects with an inside leg kick. Happy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Donk. Richter catches Happy right on the button with a cross. Happy tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Richter throws a one two combo.
Richter throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Happy. Hans Richter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Happy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Hans Richter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anti Happy. Richter changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Richter feints a jab promting Happy to slip. Richter then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Happy slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Richter scores with a head kick. Happy tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Richter takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Richter stuffs the takedown attempt from Happy. Happy gets slowly back to his feet.

"I don't think so" says Richter as he avoids it easily. Richter scores with a nice strike. Richter stuns Happy with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Richter scores with a body shot.
Happy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Richter but Richter pushes him off and we're back to square one. Richter is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Happy looks winded!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Richter tries a low kick but Happy avoids it. Richter is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Happy takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Richter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Happy moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Richter goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Happy just misses with a punch to the body.
Richter moves into range and connects with a jab. A punch combination from Happy misses. Richter stuns Happy with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Richter listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Happy checks a leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Richter throws a nice inside leg kick. Happy takes a shot right to the bread basket. Richter lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. The fighters circle momentarily. Richter darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Happy moves forwards but Richter connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Happy closes the distance and clinches up with Richter, looking for a takedown. Happy pushes Richter against the cage but Richter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Murray misses with a hook to the ribs.
