McKill takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Jansen takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jansen misses with a head kick.
McKill is looking for the big counter here. Jhan Jansen is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. McKill tries to clinch up. It looked like Jansen wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jhan Jansen. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jansen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3 rounds of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision. Judge Yves DeLean scores the fight 30:27 Judge Ian Loll scores the fight 30:27 Judge Gregory Folan scores the fight 30:27
In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Jhan Jansen! Jhan Jansen really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Sportivité logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
