And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Michael Swango!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonya closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Swango missing with a left hand there. Gonya was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Swango throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gonya throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Swango is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Swango throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gonya swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

and Swango counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gonya thinking.
Gonya works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Swango scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Swango lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Swango ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gonya moves away.
Gonya throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Swango counters with a one-two to the body.

Swango with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gonya to score with a decent uppercut.

Gonya lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Gonya.

Gonya throws a hook to the side of Swango's head but Swango sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Oh Gonya is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Swango misses with a low kick.
Gonya seems to have got his legs back now.

Swango works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Gonya throws a body shot but no joy.
Gonya tries to clinch but Swango moves out of range.
Swango lands with a thumping leg kick.
Gonya throws a head kick that misses
and Swango counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Swango lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Nice cross by Swango.
Gonya throws a sloppy head kick and Swango moves out of range easily.
Swango cracks Gonya with a right hand to the side of the head.
Swango misses with a body shot.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Swango lands a big right hand that sends Gonya crashing to the mat! Swango stays standing though and waves Gonya back to his feet!
Gonya slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Swango throws a counter combo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Michael Swango dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

A quick step to the side and Gonya tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Gonya takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Gonya has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

and Swango counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Gonya badly! Swango follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Gonya out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Swango finished him against the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Michael Swango!
A relieved looking Michael Swango thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
