Bee misses with a takedown attempt - Kinnunen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Bee shoots in for a takedown but Kinnunen shows good takedown defense.
Kinnunen stuffs the takedown.

Bee tries for a takedown but Kinnunen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Killer Bee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dean has chosen Zack Fox- Jesus Is The One (I Got Depression) as his entrance music. Gadi Gadi had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Gadi Gadi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Dean shoots in looking for a takedown but Gadi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dean's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Gadi was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Dean stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gadi.
Gadi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dean was well out of range. Poor timing from Gadi.
Dean has his takedown stuffed
and Gadi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Mikey Torres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Torres is looking to clinch but Denisov is avoiding it.
Denisov changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Denisov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Denisov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Torres on his heels. He'll look to pass Torres's guard now, I'm sure.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

OH! Pipi has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Kassib smells blood and charges in for the finish! Kassib unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Pipi sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Mcdonald fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kassib sprawls well initially but Mcdonald persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Mcdonald is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kassib won't allow Mcdonald to pass to mount.

Kassib in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Mcdonald lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

It looks like Adel Kassib has been cut.
Mcdonald tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Kassib's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Mcdonald looking to control but Kassib is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Kassib really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mcdonald. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kassib falls backwards, slamming Mcdonald to the mat but Mcdonald holds on tight! Kassib is forced to tap and this one is all over!

Da Costa's coach down at BAK training was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Da Costa's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Balle throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Da Costa closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Balle did well to prevent Da Costa getting side control.

Da Costa is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Da Costa is looking for a kimura but Balle is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Da Costa to get the leverage.
Da Costa wants to control but Balle is keeping him busy.
Da Costa throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Da Costa has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Da Costa working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Balle looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Da Costa! Submission of the night perhaps?

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Harinck really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Harinck ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
It looked like Harinck was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Fapple.
Fapple shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Fapple in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Joseph Jantan decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
