The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saxton digs a good body shot into Ishii's ribs. The crowd cheers as Ishii lands an impressive looking overhand right. Saxton doesn't seem phased though. Saxton scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Saxton cracks Ishii with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes. Ishii misses with a body shot.
Ishii throws a leg kick and Saxton counters with a straight right hand. Saxton throws a body punch but Ishii moves out of range. Ishii throws a hook to the side of Saxton's head but Saxton sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Ishii connects with a crisp jab. A left lands for Saxton. Ishii is breathing heavily. Saxton looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Ishii appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Saxton throws a hook but Ishii blocks it. Saxton's jab looks to have found its range, popping Ishii under the eye. Ishii uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Saxton. Ishii misses with an uppercut. Saxton saw that one coming. Saxton scores with a jab to the body. Saxton moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Ishii connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Saxton lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Saxton has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Saxton throws a series of punches but Ishii moves out of range. Ishii throws a lazy uppercut
and Saxton counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Ishii slips a straight right by Saxton. Saxton throws a big shot that misses. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Saxton throws a low kick, looking for Ishii's leg but Ishii calmly moves out of range. A little feinted left hand from Ishii on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Saxton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ishii moves away. Ishii is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Saxton. Saxton is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Ishii had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Ishii closes the distance and clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Saxton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ishii circles away quickly and effectively. Saxton misses the jab. Saxton dodges the punch combination from Ishii.

That kick from Saxton tenderised Ishii's leg. Ishii is trying to keep his angry face on. Ishii drives through and clinches with Saxton against the ropes.
Saxton has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Saxton takes an elbow to the forehead. Ishii throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Saxton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Saxton uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ishii has time to react. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ishii with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Saxton slips under a jab. Ishii gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Saxton. A slow jab from Saxton misses its intended target. Saxton throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ishii is looking to clinch but Saxton is avoiding it.

and Saxton counters with a nice uppercut. Nice defenses there by Ishii. Ishii slips a jab from Saxton. Saxton blocks a jab. Saxton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ishii moves out of range and avoids them all easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gary Saxton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Saxton stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Saxton throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Ishii looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Ishii turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Good standup being displayed there by Saxton as he connects with a hook. Saxton misses with a leg kick and Ishii counters by moving into the clinch. Nice elbow from Ishii. Ishii misses with an elbow strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed against the ropes, as the pace of the fight slows. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ishii pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes. Ishii throws an elbow but it misses.
Saxton lands an elbow inside. Saxton breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ishii walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Ishii slips a jab from Saxton. A right-left combo lands from Saxton. Ishii takes one to the chin there. Ishii tries to grapple but his opponent circles and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Gary Saxton comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Saxton winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takemura blocks a jab. Takemura appears to be looking for a big counter. Takemura shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Po eats them both and turns towards Takemura to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Tong Po has been cut. Po throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Takemura cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Po throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Takemura seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Takemura walks into a stiff left hand from Po. Po looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Po looks to land a right hand but Takemura moved out of range. Po falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Takemura to counter with a crisp jab. Po tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Takemura manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Po misses the body punch and Takemura counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Makarenko shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Makarenko is breathing heavily. Silva lands a leg kick that knocks Makarenko off balance momentarily. Silva tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Silva misses with a wild combination.
Makarenko on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Cyril Makarenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Silva instigates a clinch. Makarenko misses with a short punch on the inside. Silva misses with a hook from the clinch. Silva throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Makarenkos head. Makarenko can't find room to land a body shot as Silva controls the action.

Silva tries to land knees in the clinch but Makarenko avoids the damage to the body. Silva cracks Makarenko with a big uppercut, right up the middle and Makarenko goes down! Oh, he's hurt! He's bigtime hurt! The referee is giving him a chance to get back to his feet - 4,5,6,7, no, he's called it off! Makarenko wasn't going to make it and the fight is over!

and Laxx counters with a one-two to the body. Laxx takes one on the chin but seems OK.
It looks like Tyga Laxx has been cut. Laxx looks winded! Laxx smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Laxx walks into a straight right hand and goes down! Sityodtong rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but Laxx has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action.

Biernat lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Steve circles away quickly and effectively. Biernat throws a right and a left that Steve avoids nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Biernat throws a sloppy head kick and Biernat takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Steve looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Biernat tries to clinch but fails miserably and Steve counters with a right, followed by a huge uppercut that sends Biernat crashing to the mat! Biernat is trying to use the ropes to get back to his feet but he's all over the place - the referee has seen enough and has stopped the fight! Steve screams with a mixture of joy and relief, whilst celebrating with his cornermen.
