Fernando throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Vaughn Barksdale was covering up waiting for the punch and Fernando finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Armstrong is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ang is aware though and is defending well.
Armstrong is still in real trouble! Can Ang finish him?
Ang stands up over Armstrong, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Armstrong working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ang doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ang manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Ang looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Armstrong can't hide his disappointment, as Ang celebrates the victory.

Valor drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Harris is on top in guard.
Valor controls Harris momentarily but Harris frees himself.

Valor has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Harris off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Harris misses with a two punch combination.
Valor shoots in but Harris avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Valor changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Harris tries to avoid it but Valor manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Harris to the ground. Harris escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Harris.
Harris dives in and grabs Valor's left leg, looking for a takedown. Valor pushes down on Harris's head and hops out.
Valor fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Harris avoids it really well and circles away.

Brendan Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Harris wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Harris cracks Valor with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Valor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Valor pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Harris is keeping the position for now.
Harris wants to sweep here but Valor controlling him for the moment.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Valor. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Harris throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Valor stumbling backwards into the cage! Valor bounces back off the cage towards Harris, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Harris lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Harris celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
