2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Daniel Bastard! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pyramide thuds a left hand into Bastard's body. Pyramide sends Bastard crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Pyramide is motioning to the referee to let Bastard up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Daniel Bastard has been cut. Pyramide works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
That has opened up Daniel Bastard's cut even more. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bastard is defended easily by Pyramide. Bastard darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Pyramide tries to kick Bastard off in order to stand up. Bastard Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Pyramide is trying to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bastard just content to control the position. Pyramide wants to get back to his feet. Pyramide trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Bastard shoots in looking for a takedown but Pyramide manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bastard's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Bastard shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pyramide's guard. Bastard is standing up over Pyramide. Pyramide looks to escape but Bastard dives into side control.
Pyramide wants to get back to his feet but Bastard drags him back down. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pyramide tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Pyramide is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Pyramide has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Pyramide is trying to stand back up. Bastard is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Pyramide wants to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bastard darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Pyramide scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Bastard manages to mount him!

Pyramide is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Bastard trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Pyramide doesn't escape. Let's hope that Bastard has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The Pyramide has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bastard's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ledru misses with a shot to the body and Pusilla counters with a right hand to the body. Pusilla gets in close and instigates a clinch. Pusilla jumps guard.
Pusilla wants to sweep but no luck. Pusilla working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ledru doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ledru manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Ledru trying to control the position from guard on top but Pusilla is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pusilla is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Ledru is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Ledru trying to keep a closed guard but Pusilla is proving a slippery customer.
Ledru bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pusilla's guard.

Ledru on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ledru tries to get out of the position. Pusilla trying to control but Ledru is working from the bottom. Pusilla controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Ledru working for a triangle but Pusilla defends it easily.

Pusilla looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Ledru tries to get to full guard but Pusilla has control of the leg. Ledru moves into full guard.
Pusilla would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Ledru might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ledru is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Sampsa Pusilla will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Pusilla uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ledru. Pusilla tries to clinch up but Ledru circles away and keeps his distance. Pusilla shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ledru's guard. Pusilla is looking to stand up but Ledru won't let him. Pusilla stands up from Ledru's guard - Pusilla perhaps looking for a knockout. Pusilla moves away from the strike by Ledru. Pusilla looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Ledru tries to sprawl but Pusilla drives through with a takedown into half guard. Ledru is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Ledru is pressing down on Pusilla's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ledru controls Pusilla momentarily but Pusilla frees himself. Pusilla is looking to work some ground and pound but Ledru has wrist control.

Pusilla preventing the sweep. Ledru knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pusilla on the ground. Ledru is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Sampsa Pusilla has got the better of the ground game so far. Ledru thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pusilla's head. Ledru scoring with strikes to the body and head. Pusilla pushes Ledru off looking to stand but Ledru dives back in and keeps control.

Ledru cracks Pusilla with an elbow. That is naaassty. Ledru trying to control the position but Pusilla is working away. Ledru scoring with punches from side control. Ledru wants to control but Pusilla is keeping him busy. Ledru landing a few strikes. Pusilla is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Pusilla is trying to get back to half guard. Pusilla is working to avoid the ground and pound but Ledru connects with a decent elbow.
Pusilla is rocked! Pusilla is breathing heavily. Ledru scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Pusilla is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Ledru can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
