1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiroshi Papo! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Papo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bisping counters with a lovely straight right hand! Hiroshi Papo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Papo throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bisping tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Papo is in Bisping's guard. Papo is standing up over Bisping. Bisping looks to escape but Papo dives into side control.
Papo controlling from side mount. Bisping is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Papo asserts his dominance and retains side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Papo controls the position. Bisping wants to get back to his feet.

It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Bisping is pushing Papo's head away, looking to escape. Papo manages to hold on to the position though. Bisping being controlled for a moment. Bisping takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Bisping on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bisping tries to get out of the position.

Bisping's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Bisping duly obliges. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Good shot there by Bisping. Papo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bisping sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Papo somewhat. Chael Bisping is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Papo has his takedown stuffed letting Bisping counter with a right hand. Papo looks winded! Bisping tests Papo's chin there with a solid looking shot. Papo shoots and misses and Bisping counters with a one-two to the body. Bisping throws a sloppy head kick and Papo moves out of range easily. Papo tries for a takedown but Bisping circles away easily and Bisping counters with a left and a right that stings Papo. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Bisping!

A huge head kick from Te Tai! Candovski is out on his feet! Te Tai rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Candovski is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Candovski is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Four lands with a good body shot. Crabtree takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Crabtree missing with a left hand there. Four was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Four bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Four lands a jab to the nose. A swing and a miss from Crabtree. Crabtree swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Crabtree throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Four sees it coming and avoids it easily. An attempted straight right counter from Four misses the target. Crabtree cracks Four with an open hand slap.
It looks like Test Four has been cut. Crabtree misses with an uppercut. Four saw that one coming. Nice cross by Crabtree. Crabtree moves away from the strike by Four. It seemed like Crabtree was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Crabtree uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Four. Four could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Four throws a shot from downtown. Crabtree moves away and avoids it. Crabtree lands with an uppercut that bounces Four off the cage and back into range. Four pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Four looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Four moves away from the strike by Crabtree. Four swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Four is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Four throws a shot from downtown. Crabtree moves away and avoids it. Crabtree misses with a body shot.

Crabtree takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Four uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Crabtree. Crabtree swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Four keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Crabtree. A looping hook to the body misses from Four. Crabtree does a little dance to reset his feet. Four throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Crabtree's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Four dives in looking to finish as Crabtree flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Four's strikes! Four is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Crabtree's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Crabtree was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Vanorden loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
