3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lane Tate! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tate keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tate tries to clinch there but Tact circles away.
Tact was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Tact could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Tate fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Tact gets a takedown into half guard. Tact tries to stand but can't do so whilst Tate controls his leg. Tact trying to control the action but Tate is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tate is trying to control Tact 's posture. Tact takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Tate! Tact is rotating here... this could be the end... Tate is out! Tact has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcgraugh rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Van Glost counters with a straight right hand. Mcgraugh throws a shot to the body.
Mcgraugh throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Mcgraugh fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Van Glost manages to avoid it. Van Glost throws out a counter right but Mcgraugh avoids it with no problem. Mcgraugh throws the left hand but Van Glost avoids the punch easily. Mcgraugh cracks Van Glost with a right hand to the side of the head. The fighters circling - Van Glost throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Mcgraugh wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. A swing and a miss from Mcgraugh. Van Glost defending well as Mcgraugh loads up on a big left hand. A slow jab from Mcgraugh misses its intended target. Van Glost bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Van Glost connects with a nice looking jab.
Van Glost slips under a jab from Mcgraugh. Mcgraugh has taken the fight to the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mcgraugh lands a shoulder strike. Van Glost looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Van Glost blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcgraugh scores with a shot to the side of Van Glost's head. Van Glost letting Mcgraugh take a breather here. Mcgraugh presses Van Glost against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Van Glost blocks a body shot from Mcgraugh. A short left from Van Glost. Mcgraugh has Van Glost pressed against the cage, preventing Van Glost from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Mcgraugh has Van Glost pushed against the cage. Mcgraugh prevents Van Glost from breaking the clinch. Mcgraugh misses with a punch to the body.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Mcgraugh. Van Glost looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. A head punch blocked on the inside by Van Glost. Mcgraugh tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Mcgraugh.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Van Glost's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Mcgraugh tries to work over Van Glost's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Mcgraugh misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Mcgraugh lands on the inside with an uppercut. Mcgraugh misses with some punches.
Mcgraugh struggles to land a body shot inside as Van Glost controls his hands.
Mcgraugh has Van Glost pressed against the cage.
Mcgraugh pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Mcgraugh misses with a shot to the kidneys.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Van Glost takes a shot to the head. Still in the clinch, Mcgraugh scores with a nice short uppercut. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Mcgraugh just misses with a elbow thrown towards Van Glost's brow. A right hook to the body lands for Mcgraugh.
Mcgraugh misses with a shot to the kidneys.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcgraugh lands with a right to the head. Mcgraugh lands a hook that snaps the head of Van Glost backwards. Van Glost misses with the head strike.
Nice body punch from Mcgraugh - that landed with a thud.
Van Glost is trying to break the clinch but Mcgraugh is controlling him. Mcgraugh makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Mcgraugh lands on the inside with an uppercut. A right hand to the body from Mcgraugh.
Van Glost looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Mcgraugh tries to throw a body punch but Van Glost avoids it by throwing Mcgraugh back against the cage. Mcgraugh throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Van Glosts head. Mcgraugh swings wildly with an uppercut but Van Glost uses good head movement to avoid it. Mcgraugh tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Van Glost's elbow. Van Glost wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mcgraugh tries a body shot but Van Glost blocks it.

Mcgraugh misses with a hook to the ribs.
Mcgraugh lands with a short shot to the head. Van Glost takes a shot to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Van Glost is trying to push Mcgraugh away but Mcgraugh has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Mcgraugh lands a left hand.
Mcgraugh can't find room to land a body shot as Van Glost controls the action.

Van Glost wants to break the clinch but can't.
Mcgraugh misses with an elbow strike.
A nice right hand lands inside from Mcgraugh. Mcgraugh lands with a right to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Corey Mcgraugh dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Mcgraugh moves into the clinch. Mcgraugh pushes Van Glost back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Mcgraugh misses with a hook from the clinch. Van Glost is trying to break free. Mcgraugh has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Mcgraugh lands a nice shot to the body. Van Glost prevents a body shot from Mcgraugh. Mcgraugh tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Van Glost's elbow. Mcgraugh doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Van Glost pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Mcgraugh with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Mcgraugh throws a hook to the side of Van Glost's head but Van Glost sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A kick lands to the mid section there for Van Glost. Mcgraugh connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Van Glost's hands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Van Glost pushes Mcgraugh away with a front kick. Good exchange - Mcgraugh coming out on top. Van Glost lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. A slapping body kick lands there for Van Glost. Mcgraugh throws a jab when Van Glost was well out of range. Van Glost circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Mcgraugh drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Van Glost follows Mcgraugh to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Hermann Van Glost spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A lazy body kick from Escobar so Rodgers counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Escobar preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Escobar is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Rodgers trying to control the position from guard on top but Escobar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rodgers prevents Escobar from getting back to his feet. Escobar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rodgers doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rodgers manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Escobar controlling the position. Rodgers trying to control but Escobar is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Escobar is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Rodgers shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Rodgers has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Escobar defend it? Rodgers steps over the head and cranks it - Escobar is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Rodgers !
