Ragnarsson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. McDonnell walks into a left hand. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Ragnarsson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. McDonnell pulls out of a head kick attempt.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Aoki, as that shot connected.
Vuori uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Aoki. Aoki moves away from the strike by Vuori. Aoki has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Vuori shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Aoki displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Vuori throws out the jab. Vuori tries a head kick but it misses.
Aoki looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Aoki gets a clinch. Vuori is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Aoki misses with the head strike.

18 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yoshi Takano! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Oson Bon! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Alexandre Firmino and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takano tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Takano scoring well with a low kick there.
Bon connects with a crisp jab. Bon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Takano moves into range and connects with a jab. Takano thows a leg kick but Bon checks it and Takano takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Takano misses with a hook
enabling Bon to counter with a crisp jab. Takano with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bon to score with a decent uppercut. Takano missing with a left hand there. Bon was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Takano steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bon. Takano went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Takano tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Takano on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Takano throws a half hearted mid kick. Bon throws out a counter right but Takano avoids it with no problem. Takano throws a head kick that misses and Bon counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Takano throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A head kick misses from Takano. Bon lands an overhand right. Yoshi Takano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Takano throws the left hand but Bon avoids the punch easily. Takano connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bon scores with a spinning back kick! Bon bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Takano's head backwards. Bon misses the jab. Takano moves into the clinch. Takano misses with a hook to the ribs.
Bon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A telegraphed right hand from Bon misses the target. Bon lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Takano throws a sloppy head kick and Bon moves out of range easily. Bon lands the left hand. Takano shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Bon bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A shot to the body from Takano misses and Bon counters with a solid body kick. Takano takes one to the chin there.
Takano is rocked! Bon moves out of range of the leg kick from Takano. Takano drives through and clinches with Bon against the ropes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bon lands a right hand. Oh Takano is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Bon breaks the clinch.
A low kick from Takano is predictable there and Bon counters with a nice uppercut. Takano throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bon moves out of range of the body kick. Takano seems to have got his legs back now. Bon has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Takano throws a sloppy body shot
and Bon counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Bon has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Bon keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bon let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Bon misses with a kick to the body.
Bon connects with a quick right hand that sends Takano tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Oson Bon! Oson Bon is the new heavyweight champion! A very excited looking Oson Bon rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caesar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
La Croix swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. La Croix takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. La Croix scores with a decent looking hook. La Croix has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Wild Beasts Zoo in the buildup to the fight. Caesar clobbers La Croix with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Caesar explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Caesar has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Caesar moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Caesar looks to land a body kick but La Croix moved away. La Croix thows a left - swing and a miss! Caesar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. It looked like La Croix wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Nice defenses there by La Croix. La Croix takes a swing at Caesar's ribcage but misses. Caesar connects with a body shot. La Croix displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Caesar throws out the jab. Caesar moves into the clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Caesar tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. La Croix tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. La Croix lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Jules Caesar has been cut.
