The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blanken fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Smith manages to avoid it.

Blanken tries to score a power double leg takedown but Smith sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Blanken somewhat.

Blanken throws a head kick but Smith moves out of range.
Blanken has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Blanken is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Smith stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Smith lands a high kick to the side of Blanken's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Smith dives into guard, looking to finish.

Blanken is rocked!

Smith stands and steps away. Blanken gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Smith! Blanken is out on his feet! Smith rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Blanken is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Blanken is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
