Magrin moves into the clinch.
Cruz goes for a takedown in the clinch but Magrin prevents it.
Magrin blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Cruz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cruz connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Magrin gets caught napping as Cruz dives in and scores a takedown. Magrin manages to retain guard.
Cruz loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Magrin is looking for a triangle here but Cruz uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Cruz goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Magrin has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Cruz but great work by Magrin.
Cruz felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Cruz sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cruz is looking for a sweep. Magrin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Magrin content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Magrin is trying to work for a kimura but Cruz is defending well.

Magrin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cruz is just riding it out for now. Magrin eventually gives up the hold.
Cruz misses with some strikes from the bottom.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Magrin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cruz does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Cruz is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Magrin's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Magrin's back!
Magrin is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Magrin is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Cruz has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Magrin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Trigger fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Severini, pushing him back against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Severini's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Severini throws a head punch that misses.
Trigger makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Trigger connects with a knee to the head.

It looks like Dom Severini has been cut.
Severini tries to break free but Trigger pushes him back against the cage.
Trigger lands a big knee to the head and Severini goes down! Trigger pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
