 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tau is fending him off so far but Silva persists. Nope, Tau circles away and we're back to standing. Tau with the counter takedown but Silva avoids it easily. Silva will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Silva stuffs the takedown. Silva fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rickson Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tau tries to score a power double leg takedown but Silva sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tau somewhat.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Tau enables Silva to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Tau manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tau has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Silva has managed to get both his arms back between Tau's legs - danger averted. Tau keeping full guard, as Silva tries to pass.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Oduun misses. Minister throws a hook but Oduun avoids it easily. Minister has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Oduun is landing a low percentage of strikes. A shot to the body from Minister misses and Oduun counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Oduun throws a hook but Minister blocks it. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Minister, as that shot connected.
Minister lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
 Oduun is rocked! Minister throws a jab but it's blocked by Oduun. Minister throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Minister misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Oduun counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Minister misses with a looping right. A little feinted left hand from Oduun on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Minister misses with an uppercut

 That's one minute gone in the round. Minister moves out of range of the strikes.
Minister cracks Oduun with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Minister has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Oduun to stand back up! Oh Oduun is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Oduun misses with a hook. Minister ducked under it nicely. A shot to the liver by Minister. Beautiful body shot. Oduun seems to have got his legs back now. Minister uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Oduun.

Oduun wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Oduun throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Minister stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Oduun misses with a straight left. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Minister, as that shot connected.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Minister lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Minister. Oduun lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Minister misses with a looping right. Oduun walks into a straight right hand from Minister. Oduun definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Minister thows a left - swing and a miss! A little feinted left hand from Oduun on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Minister with a nice cross. Minister with a body punch. A glancing blow. Minister misses with the combination.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Minister connects with a single shot there. Oduun uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Minister.
Minister connects with a body shot that sends Oduun's belly button to the back. Minister staying out of range there. Decent striking displayed by Oduun there. Minister moves into range and connects with a jab. Minister digs a good hook to Oduun's body.
Minister throws an overhand right that drops Oduun like a sack of potatoes! Minister dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Kuhn fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kuhn tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kuhn fails with an attempt to clinch.

Vovigton tries to move into range but Cain moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. This has been an exciting period of action! Cain feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Vovigtons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Vovigton tries for a takedown but Cain circles away easily and Cain counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Cain leaves Vovigton with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Vovigton tries for a takedown but Cain circles away easily and Cain counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. RJ Cain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Colby Vovigton. Vovigton shoots in for a double leg but Cain sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Vovigton with a lazy takedown attempt and Cain cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Vovigton misses with a takedown attempt and Cain counters with a nice uppercut.

A punch lands to the side of Payakaroon 's head but he takes it in his stride. Samart Payakaroon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Davis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Payakaroon but Payakaroon pushes him off and we're back to square one. Payakaroon lands with a cross. Payakaroon avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Payakaroon holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Payakaroon lands with a short head shot on the inside. Payakaroon has a couple of punches blocked by Davis.

Davis looks to clinch but Payakaroon throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Davis taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
