The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garcia is trying hard to land a takedown here. Biller sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Biller shoots in looking for a takedown. Garcia tries to sprawl out of it but Biller keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Garcia manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Biller looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Biller looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Garcia! Biller working for a guillotine from mount but Garcia is in no mood to give up. Biller unloads with some shots from mount but Garcia bucks and avoids them well.

Carnage throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! No luck for Young I with that takedown attempt. Young I wants to clinch but Carnage slips to the side and Carnage counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Young I is lucky that one didn't land flush. Young I throws a head kick that Carnage semi-blocks.

Young I tries to clinch up and Carnage counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Young I's guard now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Young I is trying to control the position but Carnage postures up. Carnage passes Young I's right leg, so he's now in half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Young I actively working from the bottom here. Young I tries to get to full guard but Carnage has control of the leg. Young I knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carnage on the ground. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Gerald Young I will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Maxi Carnage's cut. That's time! Young I's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Carnage has one foot on Young I's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Carnage with a lazy takedown attempt and Young I counters with a shoot takedown. Carnage fights it but they end up in guard. Carnage keeping moving, preventing Young I from controlling successfully. Carnage working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Young I doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Carnage is tightening it up a little... Young I has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Young I reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Young I taps out! nice BJJ there by Carnage!

Trotter is aware though and is defending well. Wuzz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Trotter manages to get himself to full guard.

Wuzz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wuzz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Trotter is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Wuzz's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wuzz is working for a kimura but Trotter is defending it quite comfortably.

Wuzz shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Trotter but Trotter pushes him off and we're back to square one. Wuzz is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Wuzz wants to clinch up but Trotter keeps it at a distance. Trotter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wuzz is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Trotter. Trotter bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Trotter connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Trotter throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

It looks like Slick CPW has been cut. Obsen sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! A nice elbow there by Obsen. Obsen throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

CPW got a little sloppy there for a moment and Obsen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, CPW has managed to get both his arms back between Obsen's legs - danger averted. Obsen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but CPW manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Obsen has CPW in his guard. Yonaz Obsen has got the better of the ground game so far. CPW looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Obsen keeping moving, preventing CPW from controlling successfully. CPW knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Obsen on the ground.

Obsen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. CPW is looking to stand up but Obsen won't let him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Obsen looking for a guillotine here but CPW defends easily.
CPW is stalling in the full guard. CPW would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Obsen is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and CPW defends well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Obsen takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Obsen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says CPW as he avoids it easily. CPW misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Obsen.
Slick CPW is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Left hook, right uppercut from CPW. CPW is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Obsen avoids a lazy jab quite easily. CPW scores with a shot to the body.

CPW connects with a good right hand that stumbles Obsen. Obsen circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Obsen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by CPW.
That's two minutes gone in the round. CPW lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
CPW looks to score with a jab to the body but Obsen is just out of range. Obsen avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Obsen closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. CPW is looking to escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. CPW keeps control of the position for the meantime. Obsen thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. CPW avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Obsen.
That's three minutes gone in the round. CPW is trying to stand.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. CPW fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Obsen manages to avoid it. CPW closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. CPW is trying to break free. Obsen is trying to drag CPW to the mat but CPW just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Slick CPW has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yonaz Obsen. CPW escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
CPW lands a really nice looking cross but Obsen seems unphased.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Obsen. CPW paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Obsen takes a body punch but keeps moving. CPW throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Karev throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Karev lands a left and a right that send The Animal crashing to the mat, dazed. Karev thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The Animal is rocked! Karev ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with The Animal's jaw. The Animal's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Karev does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Raptor bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Eins is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Raptor's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gogoplata scores a takedown into full mount! Gogoplata is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Ellis to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ellis shrugs it off. Gogoplata misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
