The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ac ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Emelianenko moves away. Emelianenko closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ac did well to prevent Emelianenko getting side control. Emelianenko in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Ac tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Emelianenko!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab, jab by Syrovyu - just one landing. Pitbull slips a jab and a cross from Syrovyu.

Syrovyu working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Syrovyu thows a big elbow that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Syrovyu accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Syrovyu throws a strike but Pitbull rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Pitbull's corner is telling him to maintain position. Pitbull drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Syrovyu dives on top into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Syrovyu throwing strikes from guard but Pitbull blocks nicely. Syrovyu with a flurry of punches that miss. Syrovyu has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Syrovyu throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pitbull works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Syrovyu is looking to work some ground and pound but Pitbull has wrist control. Pitbull is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Syrovyu postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Syrovyu throws a strike but Pitbull rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Syrovyu wants to sweep but no luck. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pitbull working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Syrovyu. Syrovyu loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Syrovyu is looking to work some ground and pound but Pitbull has wrist control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Syrovyu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pitbull moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Vrag Syrovyu is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Syrovyu works over Pitbull's head and body with a nice combination.

Baron digs a good body shot into Grishin's ribs. Baron throws a series of punches but Grishin avoids them all with ease. Nice takedown defense from Baron. No joy for Grishin on that attempt. Baron could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. This has been an exciting period of action! Grishin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Baron swats him away and circles back towards the center. Baron looks to land a combination but Grishin avoids it well. Marko Baron is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Baron shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Baron uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Grishin has time to react. Baron throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Baron lands with an uppercut that bounces Grishin off the ropes and back into rage. Grishin dodges the punch combination from Baron.

Grishin shoots for a takedown but Baron saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Grishin dodges the punch combination from Baron.
Baron throws a series of punches but Grishin moves out of range. Baron fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Grishin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. A telegraphed right hand from Baron misses the target. Baron's corner calls for a 1-2. Baron obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Grishin takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Baron lands a jab-cross combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baron lands a hook that stumbles Grishin back into the ropes. Baron follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Grishin to the canvas! Baron pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Grishin has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mortem shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says England as he avoids it easily. Mortem looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! No joy there for England, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mortem looks like he's thinking about clinching though. England fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. A nice combination there by England.
It looks like Forrest Mortem has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A big right followed by a crushing left from England knocks Mortem out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zhirinovsky shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Zhirinovsky shoots for a double leg takedown but Hug sprawls well. He's pushed Zhirinovsky's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Zhirinovsky fails with a takedown attempt. The Impaler closes the distance and clinches up with Rasputin, looking for a takedown. The Impaler pushes Rasputin against the ropes but Rasputin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bisher tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Bisher keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Fang. Bisher drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fang is trying to buck Bisher off. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
