Hill kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is King Of The Hill Theme. Greg Bundy is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Havok shoots in for a takedown but Briggs shows good takedown defense. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Havok is defended easily by Briggs. Havok dives in and grabs Briggs's left leg, looking for a takedown. Briggs pushes down on Havok's head and hops out. Briggs wants to counter with a clinch but Havok pushes him away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dez Havok. That's going to take a lot out of him. Horrible takedown attempt by Havok or perhaps it was just good defense by Briggs, which made it look bad. Briggs tries to clinch up but Havok circles away and keeps his distance. Havok shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Briggs but Briggs pushes him off and we're back to square one. Havok looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Briggs is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Briggs bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
