The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Repine as he connects with a hook.
Barbosa with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Repine to score with a decent uppercut.
Nice uppercut there from Repine.
Barbosa takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Repine walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Barbosa drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Repine swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Barbosa's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Gueguen throws out a loose jab but Lavigne uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gueguen looks to score with a jab to the body but Lavigne is just out of range.
A little jabbing left from Lavigne on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Lavigne avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Gueguen tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lavigne defends well and Gueguen ends up having to push Lavigne into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Lavigne connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gueguen's hands.
Lavigne digs a good body shot into Gueguen's ribs.
Lavigne looks to land a left hand but Gueguen moved out of range nicely.
Gueguen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Gagnon throws a body punch but Larousse moves out of range.
Larousse tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Larousse ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gagnon moves away.
Gagnon has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Gagnon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Larousse was well out of range. Poor timing from Gagnon.
Gagnon throws a wild body kick that Larousse sees coming a mile off.
Gagnon connects with a single shot there.
Larousse looks to land a left hand but Gagnon moved out of range nicely.
Larousse takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Gagnon feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Larousse's calf.

Gagnon is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

I would just about give that final round to Sacha Gardet.
Well Gardet has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
