Maltsev's jab looks to have found its range, popping Mills under the eye.

Boaler shoots for a takedown but Gilms saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Gilms swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Boaler shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Gilms counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Boaler changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gilms tries to avoid it but Boaler manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gilms to the ground. Gilms escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gregory Gilms has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonathan Boaler.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Gilms is looking to break free of the clinch but Boaler has double underhooks.
A nice right hand lands inside from Gilms.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Limmerick can do anything to dispel that myth.

Rodd jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Limmerick manages to avoid the submission attempt.
