The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mills ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Semenov moves away.
Mills looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mills walks into a straight right hand from Semenov.
Semenov lands with a nice combination. Mills backs away looking to recover.
Mills moves to clinch but Semenov breaks away
and Semenov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lucroy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Belt's guard.
Lucroy is looking to work some ground and pound but Belt has wrist control.

Belt manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Rodd seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Himes does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rodd seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Rodd wants to lay and pray for a moment but Himes keeps working.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Rodd trying to control the position from guard on top but Himes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rodd sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Himes's guard.
Himes is trying to stand.
Rodd wants to pass to mount but Himes is defending the position.

Rodd wants to work for an arm triangle but Himes is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
John Rodd has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Rodd throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

I would just about give that final round to John Rodd.
