These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

10 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Samoa Joe Schilling! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Bart Greer and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lentz takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Lentz looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Schilling misses with a wild body shot. Lentz was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Schilling has managed to clinch.
Lentz is working Schilling over against the cage. Lentz working aggressively here.
Lentz breaks from the clinch.
Lentz misses with an uppercut. Lentz moves out of range as Schilling strikes. Lentz on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
It looks like Leon Lentz has been cut. Samoa Joe Schilling seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schilling keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Schilling scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Schilling looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Lentz on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lentz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Schilling looks to score with a jab to the body but Lentz is just out of range. Schilling avoids the body shot from Lentz.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schilling bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Schilling misses with a straight right. A quick step to the side and Lentz tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. The fight moves into the clinch position. Lentz lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Lentz tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Lentz tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Lentz lands a right hand that snaps the head of Schilling backwards. Lentz working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Lentz lands with a short shot to the head. A head punch blocked on the inside by Lentz. A head punch blocked on the inside by Lentz. Schilling blocks an uppercut.
Lentz manages to break the clinch.
Schilling misses with a hook. Lentz ducked under it nicely. Lentz swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Schilling is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Schilling lands with a nice body punch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lentz tries to keep at a distance but Schilling has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lentz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Schilling has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Schilling lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Lentz backwards. Lentz breaks the clinch.
Schilling looks to clinch and Lentz counters with a lovely straight right hand! Schilling closes the distance looking to clinch and Lentz scores with a counter punch that sends Schilling to the canvas! Lentz smells blood - he's punishing Schilling with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Schilling has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marshal gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Marshal definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Fighter waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Marshal. Marshal throws a jab when Fighter was well out of range. Marshal gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Fighter. Marshal shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fighter sprawls well. Fighter wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Marshal gets slowly back to his feet. A looping hook to the body misses from Fighter. Marshal does a little dance to reset his feet. Fighter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Marshal moves away. Marshal shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Marshal showed some decent athleticism there. Fighter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marshal. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Marshal drops an elbow to the side of Fighter's head. Marshal throwing shots but Fighter is blocking nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marshal stops Fighter from getting back to his feet.
Marshal landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Fighter looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Marshal working Fighter over with strikes. Fighter blocking the ground and pound attempt from Marshal. Marshal throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Fighter keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Marshal working Fighter over with strikes. Marshal lands with a punch from half guard. Marshal wants to free his trapped foot but Fighter is holding on for dear life with his legs. Marshal has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marshal with the ground and pound from mount. Marshal sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Marshal unloading with bombs! Marshal looking to finish with strikes here!
This has been an exciting period of action! Marshal thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

That's three minutes gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Marshal cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Fighter is rocked! Fighter really wants to buck Marshal off and get back to his feet. Marshal has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Fighter is bucking up trying to escape but Marshal cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Marshal cracks Fighter with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
