William has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wad throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
William looks winded!
Wad misses with a takedown attempt - William sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
William goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Wad clinches up with William and pushes him back against the cage.
Wad tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. William just stands there and leans against the cage.
William is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
William's coach down at whitey's gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on William's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dunn can do anything to dispel that myth.

Woodoo stands up and waves to Dunn to follow him.

Dunn shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Woodoo napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Dunn looks up at the clock and then as Woodoo takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Dunn smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Woodoo is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Dunn asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Dunn has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Woodoo is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Dunn has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Woodoo takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Dunn scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Woodoo to see if he's OK.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer misses with an uppercut
and Oduun counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Hammer throws a shot from downtown. Oduun moves away and avoids it.
Oduun moves away from the strike by Hammer.
Hammer throws the left hand but Oduun avoids the punch easily.
A telegraphed right hand from Oduun misses the target.
Hammer throws a right hand that misses
and Oduun counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hammer misses with a lunging right hand
and Oduun cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hammer connects with a crisp jab.
Hammer displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Oduun throws out the jab.
Oduun avoids the body shot from Hammer.
Oduun walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Oduun thows a left - swing and a miss!

Hammer sends Oduun crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Hammer is motioning to the referee to let Oduun up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Oduun is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hammer darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Oduun's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Hammer before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
