The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oppo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Oppo feints and as Mattonen raises his hands in defense, Oppo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Oppo tries to free his leg and advance position but Mattonen is retaining full guard.

Oppo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Oppo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Mattonen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Oppo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
