The bell rings for round one and we are underway! TShwiz fails to land the takedown. Diaz stuffs the takedown. Diaz unleashes a big counter combination but TShwiz bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. TShwiz rushes Diaz and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Diaz misses with a knee to the head. TShwiz manages to break the clinch.
Diaz attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Diaz. TShwiz misses with a two punch combination.

TShwiz shoots for a double leg takedown but Diaz sprawls well. He's pushed TShwiz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. TShwiz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. TShwiz jabs Diaz right on the nose. Diaz blinks but takes it well. TShwiz moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Diaz avoids a punch combination nicely.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Toby TShwiz. Well TShwiz has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Llloyd throws a half hearted mid kick. Llloyd throws a body kick, spinning off balance enabling River to counter with a crisp jab. Harry Llloyd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Llloyd looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Llloyd shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has River pinned against the cage. River gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Llloyd has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Death Valley Training Facility in the buildup to the fight. Llloyd digs a good hook to River's body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. River avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

It looks like Harry Llloyd has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. River finds Llloyd's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Llloyd flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. River lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Llloyd will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bernhard River! After winning the bout, Bernhard River thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Grestch shoots and misses enabling Ramathorn to counter with a crisp jab. Grestch has his takedown stuffed letting Ramathorn counter with a right hand.

McGuire seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Bundy throws a lazy right hand but McGuire sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. McGuire lands a front kick. McGuire misses with a jab to the body
and Bundy counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Bundy scores with a nice right hand.

I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bundy connects with a nice short shot to McGuire's temple. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stallion lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Harnett Mckleskin has been cut. Stallion cracks Mckleskin with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Rocky Stallion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stallion throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mckleskin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Stallion throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Mckleskin counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Stallion tries to roll over but Mckleskin keeps him under control. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Stallion really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mckleskin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mckleskin seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Stallion for as long as he can get away with. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stallion can do anything to dispel that myth.
