The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holyfield fails in his attempt to clinch. Holyfield tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Severino Holyfield seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Holyfield is looking to clinch. A clash of legs there as Holyfield blocks the low kick. Hammer has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Mehtmeht throws a right hand that Castro ducks under and follows up with a left that Castro also avoids with ease. Castro shoots and misses and Mehtmeht counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Castro is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mehtmeht scores with a jab to the jaw. Jafar Mehtmeht is winning the standup battle so far. Promise seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down joe for as long as he can get away with. joe looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Promise trying to pass the guard but joe defending well. Promise is looking to take a break and control but joe is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. joe blocking the ground and pound attempt from Promise. joe is in trouble now - Promise has advanced to mount! joe wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Promise.

Promise wants to finish this one by submission but joe is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Promise. Promise trying to control but joe is having none of it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Promise throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

This is bad for joe! Promise tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. joe wants to try and get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Promise is going oldschool here, as he tries to force joe to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so joe shrugs it off. Promise controlling the pace for now. Promise thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Redding lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smith circles away quickly and effectively. Smith changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Redding tries to avoid it but Smith manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Redding to the ground. Redding escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Redding thuds a left hand into Smith's body. Redding throws a one two combo.
It looks like Travis Smith has been cut. Smith looks gassed! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Redding lands with an overhand left. Redding lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Smith - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Redding!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Visconti shoots for a double leg takedown but Spencer sprawls well. He's pushed Visconti's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Spencer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. No luck with that takedown attempt from Visconti. Visconti shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Visconti. That's going to take a lot out of him. Visconti gets the takedown into side control. Visconti advances to mount. Visconti moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Spencer has worked his arm free - good work by Spencer!
Visconti looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Spencer tries to escape but Visconti is in control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Visconti tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Spencer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Visconti. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Visconti tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Visconti has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Spencer tries to escape but Visconti is in control. Visconti is looking to take a break and control but Spencer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Spencer is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Visconti shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Spencer as he avoids it easily. Spencer lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice body punch from Spencer. Visconti is breathing heavily. Visconti shoots in but Spencer avoids the takedown attempt easily. Visconti really is a fat lump. A punch lands to the side of Visconti 's head but he takes it in his stride. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Visconti takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Visconti. Michael Visconti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Visconti drops his hands momentarily and Spencer takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Spencer thuds his right hand into Visconti's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Spencer drops Visconti with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Visconti! Spencer dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
