Tua throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Alexandrov tries to counter with a clinch but Tua shakes him off and moves away.
Tua looks to throw the jab but Alexandrov is out of range.

Tua catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Alexandrov stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Alexandrov walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!

It looks like Alex Alexandrov has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

David Tua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tua misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Alexandrov.
Tua swings for the body but Alexandrov moves out of range.
Tua throws a series of punches but Alexandrov avoids them all with ease.
Tua cracks Alexandrov with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!

A very excited looking David Tua rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Cotto throws a head kick that misses.
Cook connects with a solid leg kick.
A jab from Cook finds it's way through Cotto's defenses.

and Cotto counters with a series of strikes. Cook will be more careful next time no doubt.
Cook scores with a head kick. Cotto tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

It looks like Miguel Cotto has been cut.
Cook scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
A right-left combo lands from Cook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A big left from Cotto misses.
Cotto gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Solomon Cook seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cotto walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
