The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rodey lands a right hook to the body.
Gatti looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Rodey darts in and clinches Gatti up against the cage. Rodey prevents Gatti from breaking the clinch. Rodey lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Rodey not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Gatti knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rodey on the ground. Rodey working the head and body with strikes. Rodey working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Rodey missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Rodey seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Rodey's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Rodey not landing any meaningful shots this time. Gatti keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Rodey thows a huge punch but Gatti dodges it nicely.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cottingham slips a jab and a cross from silva.
Cottingham misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from silva.
Cottingham should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Cottingham throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
silva lands a head kick!
A nice inside leg kick there by silva. That's going to slow Cottingham down. Cottingham throws a left and a right that both miss
and silva counters with an outside leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cottingham. silva does a little dance to reset his feet. silva finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Cottingham shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Cottingham drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cottingham jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cottingham on the ground. Cottingham is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. silva really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. silva trying to control the position.
Cottingham slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's one minute gone in the round. silva wants to get back to his feet but Cottingham drags him back down. Cottingham goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, silva has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Cottingham but great work by silva. Cottingham looks gassed! silva misses with an attempted head punch from side control. silva scoring with punches and elbows. Cottingham prevents silva from improving position. Cottingham tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but silva wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. silva stands up and beckons Cottingham to his feet. silva scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
silva lands a big head kick that sends Cottingham tumbling to the mat! silva takes a step backwards and waves Cottingham back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Cottingham is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. silva misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cottingham is still on wobbly legs! Can silva finish him?
That's two minutes gone in the round. It's a brutal combination of punches from silva! Cottingham is backing up but he can't get away as silva lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Cottingham and ends the fight. Great knockout.

Ogden closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pereira to the mat! Pereira manages to get full guard. Pereira escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ogden gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Pereira has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Ogden should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Pereira has tightened it up now! Ogden should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fisher changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Down looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Fisher thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Down is not content to let Fisher control the position. Down is trying to get back to his feet. Down is looking for a sweep. Fisher throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Down works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Fisher tries to stand and escape but Down is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Down looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Down tries to roll over but Fisher keeps him under control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Down darts in and clinches Fisher up against the cage. Down takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Dirt Down has been cut. Fisher with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Down wants a takedown.
Down is pressed up against the cage. Fisher has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Down down to the mat. Down avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Fisher throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Down blocks a head kick by Fisher.
Horrible takedown by Down or perhaps it was just good defense by Fisher which made him look bad.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fisher shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Down napping and manages to drive through into side control! Down being controlled for a moment. Down is not content to let Fisher control the position. Fisher is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Down knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Down is trying to get back to half guard. Down is letting Fisher control him for a moment. Fisher has knee on belly and moves into mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Down wants to hold on but Fisher pushes him away. Fisher wants to control the pace but Down is squirming around nicely. Fisher goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Down turns into him and now he's in Fisher's guard.
Fisher seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Down looking to pass the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fisher trying to control the position from guard on top but Down is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Down is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fisher pushes down on Down's leg and manages to get into half guard. Down tries to kick Fisher off but Fisher keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Fisher is keen to just control but Down is a slippery customer. Fisher is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Down is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Fisher controlling the action here. Fisher is trying to control. Down wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fisher is taking a breather. Down says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Down is trying to stand back up but Fisher is controlling him
Down is staying active underneath Fisher, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Fisher shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Fisher jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Down is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Down and Fisher has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Fisher throws some wild stikes that Down manages to avoid easily.
Poor strikes thrown by Fisher there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Becker throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Arizona was covering up waiting for the punch and Becker finishes the takedown easily into guard. Arizona looking for a guillotine here but Becker defends easily.
Arizona is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Becker drops back looking for a leg! Arizona is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Arizona manages to kick Becker off! Becker jumps back into Arizona's guard. Becker drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Becker jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Arizona keeping moving, preventing Becker from controlling successfully. Becker postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Arizona is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Becker, into his guard. Arizona sitting in guard here, content to control.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hopachai on the wrong end of a nice hook. Stroud avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Nice shot by Stroud. Stroud's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Stroud duly obliges. Hopachai avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hopachai lands with a kick to the temple. Stroud shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Stroud scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stroud connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Hopachai slips a straight right by Stroud. Stroud looks to land a combination but Hopachai avoids it well. Hopachai fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stroud. A good leg kick by Hopachai. Stroud connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hopachai momentarily.
Whack! Hopachai lands a heavy head kick that drops Stroud. The ref tackles Hopachai to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Stroud was done.

Storm drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Storm tries to free his leg and advance position but Busmalis is retaining full guard. Storm thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Busmalis preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Storm forces his way into half guard. Storm seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Busmalis does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
