Cottingham slips a jab and a cross from silva.

Cottingham should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Cottingham throws a left and a right that both miss
and silva counters with an outside leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cottingham. silva does a little dance to reset his feet.

Fisher changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Down looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Fisher thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Down is not content to let Fisher control the position.
Down is trying to get back to his feet.
Down is looking for a sweep.
Fisher throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Down works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Fisher tries to stand and escape but Down is controlling the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Fisher is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Down is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
