The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
AZ fails with an attempt to clinch.

King drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

AZ has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. King has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
King can't get the takedown.

AZ really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Max Svensoon.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Svensoon, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Horrible takedown attempt by Togata or perhaps it was just good defense by Blash, which made it look bad.
Nice sprawl there from Togata as Blash shoots in.
Togata throws the kick towards the body but Blash avoids it.

Blash shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Togata's guard.
Togata wants to get back to his feet but Blash passes into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Blash wants to advance to full mount but Togata doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
