Egomi's entrance music is Hand of doom by Manowar. A fine choice. On his way into the cage it seems that Aron Egomi has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Aron Egomi seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Egomi on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Stienis. Stienis obviously looking to wear him down.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Stienis has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Stienis shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Egomi shoots in for a takedown but Stienis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
