The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bully drops Tyurin with a beautiful combination! Tyurin stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Bully is looking for the KO!

It looks like Philipp Tyurin has been cut.
Tyurin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tyurin wants to clinch up but Bully keeps it at a distance.
Tyurin cracks Bully with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Bully bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Tyurin throws a right and a left that Bully avoids nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bully rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tyurin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Tyurin tries to throw a body punch but Bully avoids it by throwing Tyurin back against the cage.

Bully blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Bully wants to get back to striking at distance but Tyurin won't allow it.
Tyurin tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bully's elbow.

Tyurin tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bully just stands there and leans against the cage.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Philipp Tyurin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bully really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tyurin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tyurin has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Bully should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Tyurin has tightened it up now! Bully should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Loco looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

El Celso has picked Loco up - he's going for a ride! El Celso dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
El Celso is pressing down on Loco's thigh, looking to free his foot. Loco is holding on for now.

El Celso seems to be looking for submissions.
El Celso frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Loco can't escape the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Loco has left one of his arms exposed and El Celso doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Loco screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Roughneck is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Roughneck has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but River can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
River is stalling in the full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
River tries to free his leg and advance position but Roughneck is retaining full guard.

Roughneck is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
River wants to control from the top but Roughneck keeps moving.

Roughneck had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. River defends it easily.
River looking to sit in guard and control but Roughneck gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Roughneck has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
River controls Roughneck momentarily but Roughneck frees himself.

That kick from River tenderised Roughneck's leg. Roughneck is trying to keep his angry face on.
River fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Roughneck has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Roughneck is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that River can do to turn this around?
River takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
River is looking to slow Roughneck down with leg kicks.
River moves out of range of the strikes.

River takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Roughneck throws a lazy right hand but River sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by River.
Nice uppercut lands for River. That snapped Roughneck's head back.

Roughneck is rocked!
River flashes Roughneck a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Roughneck's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Roughneck crumples to the floor! He's out cold! River punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

A less than humble Patrick River misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

Fist tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boi was well out of range. Poor timing from Fist.

and Fist counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Fan Boi has been cut.
Boi comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Boi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fist moves away.
Boi throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Boi doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Boi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Fist counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
