The bell rings for round one and we are underway! BiJay darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Koivusalo is trying to defend against the ground and pound but BiJay scores with a couple of nice shots. BiJay thows a huge punch but Koivusalo dodges it nicely.
Koivusalo is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. BiJay looks to land a strike but Koivusalo avoids it nicely and regains full guard. BiJay working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. BiJay drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and BiJay jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. BiJay postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Koivusalo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of BiJay, into his guard. BiJay managing to control the position. Koivusalo wants to stand but BiJay is controlling his posture from full guard.

Koivusalo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but BiJay is tightening it up a little... Koivusalo has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Koivusalo reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Koivusalo taps out! nice BJJ there by BiJay!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! tan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mayweather as he avoids it easily. tan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. tan fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Diddy Mayweather has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Orangu tan. Mayweather stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mayweather wants it to stay on the feet. tan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Mayweather misses with a looping right. tan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mayweather manages to break the clinch.

Mayweather uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in tan's guard. Nice move by Mayweather! Orangu tan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! tan isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Mayweather stacks tan on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Mayweather!

Uasay Almeida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Almeida throws a series of punches but Williams moves out of range. Almeida swinging wildly here.
Williams fails to land the takedown. Almeida lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Williams circles away quickly and effectively. Williams lands with a nice combination. Almeida backs away looking to recover. Williams has taken the fight to the clinch.
Almeida is trying to break free. Williams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Almeida throws a shot from downtown. Williams moves away and avoids it. Williams uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Almeida. Almeida throws a combination that misses and Williams holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Williams gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Williams is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Williams passes to side control. Almeida knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Williams on the ground.

Miller tries to reverse the position but Jasta maintains control. Jasta unloads with some shots from mount but Miller bucks and avoids them well.

Rua loads up on a big right hand but Sackett slips the punch. Sackett takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. The fight stays on the outside here - Sackett looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Sackett lands with a nice body kick. Rua looks gassed! Rua misses with a telegraphed body shot

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rua loads up on a big right hand but Sackett slips the punch. Sackett connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Rua tries to clinch and Sackett counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Sackett has closed the distance and engaged Rua in a clinch.
