The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marshall misses with a head kick.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Fighter working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Fighter lands a shot to the body. Fighter is leaning against Marshall and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. A short uppercut from Fighter. Marshall is breathing heavily. A short right from Fighter. Fighter lands a shoulder strike. Fighter lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Fighter works on Marshall's body with a couple of short punches. Fighter lands with a short punch from the clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Taz with that takedown attempt. Taz fails with the takedown. Nurmagomedov moves into the clinch. Nurmagomedov lands a hook to the side of the head. Taz gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Nurmagomedov regains guard.
Taz tries to free his leg and advance position but Nurmagomedov is retaining full guard. Nurmagomedov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Nurmagomedov is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Taz throws a big right hand that misses. Taz wants to pass the guard but Nurmagomedov is keeping the position. Taz working some strikes from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taz missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Taz throws a big elbow that misses. Nurmagomedov lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Taz striking off his back but it's not causing Nurmagomedov any problems. Taz is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Taz drops an elbow to the side of Nurmagomedov's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Taz throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Nurmagomedov to regain full guard. Taz lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Nurmagomedov is rocked! Taz loads up on a big left hand. Nurmagomedov felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Taz looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Nurmagomedov can't hide his disappointment, as Taz celebrates the victory.
