The crowd roars in approval. robinson slams Suzuki to the floor and that's really hurt Suzuki - he doesn't know where he is! robinson throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!

A slapping leg kick lands for Peterson.
Peterson looks for a takedown but Activin sprawls well.
Peterson shoots in for a takedown but Activin shows good takedown defense.
Peterson throws a right and a left that Activin avoids nicely.
Peterson doesn't manage to clinch there - Activin circles away.

Activin feints and as Peterson raises his hands in defense, Activin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Activin wants to control from the top but Peterson keeps moving.

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Tiger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calvin Greenbud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Tiger had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greenbud tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nice sprawl there from Greenbud as Tiger shoots in.

Greenbud shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Greenbud showed some decent athleticism there.
Tiger is breathing heavily.
Tiger wants to control but Greenbud is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Greenbud tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Tiger.
Tiger is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tiger has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Greenbud is working away from the top position though.
Tiger tries to roll over but Greenbud keeps him under control.
Greenbud working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Tiger is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Tiger is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Greenbud scores with a couple of nice shots.
Greenbud wants to stand but Tiger has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Tiger is looking to control Greenbud's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Tiger avoid being mounted?

Tiger has one foot on Greenbud's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Greenbud misses with a takedown

and Tiger counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Greenbud pushes Tiger off looking to stand but Tiger dives back in and keeps control.
Greenbud tries to get to full guard but Tiger has control of the leg.
Tiger is looking to take a break and control but Greenbud is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Tiger stands up and beckons Greenbud to join him on the feet.
Tiger with a poor takedown
and Greenbud counters with a stiff right hand.
Greenbud will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Tiger throws a sloppy head kick

and Greenbud moves into the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tiger jumps guard but Greenbud stands there with Tiger around his waist. Tiger gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Tiger. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Greenbud has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Tiger clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Greenbud tries to keep control of the position but Tiger is staying busy.

Greenbud has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Tiger has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Greenbud is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Greenbud is working for a rear naked choke. Tiger is not defending it well and Greenbud has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Tiger refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Tiger's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
