Randolph jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Puckley walks away with a smile on his face. Midnight is rocked! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Midnight tries to hold on but Coganobitch postures up. Coganobitch wants to get back to his feet but Midnight is holding on tight.

Not this time though. Midnight gets full guard. Coganobitch stopping the sweep attempt from Midnight. Midnight escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Coganobitch gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Coganobitch won't allow Midnight to sweep him here. Midnight preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Coganobitch wants to stand but Midnight is controlling his posture from full guard. Coganobitch has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Midnight trying to keep a closed guard but Coganobitch is proving a slippery customer.

Coganobitch trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Coganobitch throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Midnight's head. Midnight takes a kick to the side of the head. Midnight misses with a looping right. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Midnight blocks a head kick by Coganobitch.
Coganobitch is looking to clinch. Coganobitch tries to clinch but Midnight is having none of it. Midnight takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Midnight gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Coganobitch to score an easy takedown into full guard. Midnight has a closed guard, preventing Coganobitch from standing up. Midnight trying to control the position here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Midnight lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Coganobitch!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Coganobitch's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Coganobitch turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Midnight off and cradles Coganobitch's limp body as Midnight celebrates with his corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Osie tests Bobby's chin there with a solid looking shot. Osie looks to score with a jab to the body but Bobby is just out of range. Bobby jabs Osie right on the nose. Osie blinks but takes it well. Bobby lands with a nice combination. Osie backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Oleewae Osie has been cut. Bobby throws a hook to the side of Osie's head but Osie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Bobby lands with a hook. Osie tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Osie misses with an uppercut. Bobby saw that one coming. Osie misses with a hook. Osie defending well as Bobby loads up on a big left hand. Osie takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bobby slips a jab from Osie. Bobby is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Osie. Bobby uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Osie. Nice defenses there by Osie. Osie misses with a straight left. Bobby throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bobby cracks a nice hook into Osie's ribs. Osie is breathing heavily. Bobby throws a big shot that misses. Bobby dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Bobby tests Osie's chin there with a solid looking shot. Bobby lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bobby looks to score with a jab to the body but Osie is just out of range. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bobby, as that shot connected.
Osie misses with a straight right. Bobby circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Osie to the canvas! Osie doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Bobby keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Hart. Ya Down digs a good body shot into Hart's ribs. Hart fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ya Down closes the distance and pushes Hart back into the cage. Come on Ya Down - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Hart looking to throw knees to the head but Ya Down is blocking nicely.
Ya Down landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Hart looks gassed! Hart is trying to maintain a safe position but Ya Down gets an underhook and turns Hart into the cage. Ya Down manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

It looks like Chris Hart has been cut. Hart tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ya Down smiles and moves away.
Taken Ya Down has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Hart. Hart has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Ya Down punishes Hart's body with a nice straight punch.

Chris Hart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ya Down scores with a sloppy right hand. Hart should have avoided that one. Ya Down feints and as Hart raises his hands in defense, Ya Down changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Ya Down stands and throws Hart's legs to the side, diving into side control. Ya Down controls the position. Ya Down decides to stand back up. Ya Down steps back and let's Hart get back to his feet. Ya Down moves into range and clinches up with Hart. Ya Down works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Ya Down obliges. Ya Down has clasped his hands together around Hart's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hart is working to avoid the ground and pound but Ya Down connects with a decent elbow. Ya Down will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Ya Down scores with a couple of short elbows. Hart takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ya Down landing strikes. Ya Down lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Hart down.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Taken Ya Down. Ya Down closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hart to the mat! Hart regains half guard, as Ya Down was trying to land strikes. Ya Down with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Ya Down is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roy Palmer! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Palmer circles away from the clinch attempt.
Palmer closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Palmer tries to pass to full mount but Masvidal defends it. Palmer is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Masvidal is just riding it out for now. Palmer eventually gives up the hold. Masvidal knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Palmer on the ground. Masvidal avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Palmer. Palmer wants to pass the guard but Masvidal is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Masvidal wants to get back to full guard. Masvidal on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Masvidal tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Palmer is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Palmer perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Palmer is working for a submission of some sort.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Masvidal is desperately trying to improve his position but Palmer has a good base and remains in mount. Masvidal defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Palmer. Masvidal is looking to improve his position but Palmer isn't that keen on the idea. Palmer controlling from mount. Palmer tries to control but Masvidal wriggling away.

Masvidal wants to control but Palmer is having none of it. Palmer is working for a guillotine from mount but Masvidal frees his head quite easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Palmer quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Palmer but it's paid off an Masvidal is forced to tap! Nice work by Palmer.

Joseph defending well as Penn loads up on a big left hand. Jab, jab by Joseph - just one landing. Joseph misses with a hook. Penn ducked under it nicely. Joseph avoids the body shot from Penn.
Penn fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Joseph avoids it really well and circles away. Penn throws a looping overhand right but Joseph ducks down to avoid it. Penn loads up on a big right hand but Joseph slips the punch. Penn uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Joseph.

Penn loads up on a big right hand but Joseph slips the punch. Penn lands a nice looking body shot.

Penn looks gassed! Penn takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Joseph uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Penn. Joseph stuffs the takedown attempt from Penn. Penn gets slowly back to his feet. William Joseph has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of BJ Penn. Joseph scores with a sloppy right hand. Penn should have avoided that one. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Penn takes a body punch but keeps moving. Are you kidding me?! Joseph ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Penn clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ball punching from mount but Paukuttaja doing a good job of avoiding damage. Ball lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Paukuttaja holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Ball tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ball is keen to just control but Paukuttaja is a slippery customer. Ball trying to advance position but Paukuttaja counters by regaining guard. Ball postures up in Paukuttaja's guard and throws a big left but Paukuttaja blocks it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A jab from Ball does it's job there. Ball avoids a punch combination nicely.

Paukuttaja uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ball. Paukuttaja looks to score with a jab to the body but Ball is just out of range. Paukuttaja misses with a wild body shot. Ball is looking to slow Paukuttaja down with leg kicks. Paukuttaja ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ball moves away. Paukuttaja throws out a loose jab but Ball uses good head movement to avoid it. Ball scores with a hook to the body. Paukuttaja takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Paukuttaja chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ball can pounce on him.
Ball jabs at Paukuttaja's body. Paukuttaja doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Paukuttaja looks gassed! Ball just misses with a punch to the body.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Paukuttaja jabbing away but nothing is landing. Pate Paukuttaja is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Paukuttaja takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Pate Paukuttaja's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Paukuttaja swinging wildly here.

Ball connects with a jab. Ball jabs Paukuttaja right on the nose. Paukuttaja blinks but takes it well. Paukuttaja dodges the punch combination from Ball.
Paukuttaja fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Ball swings away with a body shot that misses
and Ball takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Ball lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Ball lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Paukuttaja is rocked! Ball missing with a left hand there. Paukuttaja was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Paukuttaja is still on wobbly legs! Can Ball finish him? Jimmy Ball is winning the standup battle so far. Paukuttaja bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Ball throws a hook but Paukuttaja avoids it easily. Paukuttaja slips a straight right by Ball. Ball lands with a right and another and another! Paukuttaja is in big trouble! Ball lands again and this time it's lights out for Paukuttaja! A quality knockout there for Ball.
