The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Crazyhorse keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Crazyhorse closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

On his way into the cage it seems that Michael Howard has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Michael Howard seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Howard has closed the distance and engaged Thai in a clinch.
Howard is pressed up against the cage. Thai has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Howard down to the mat. Howard avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Howard gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Thai decides to pull guard.

Thai escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Howard gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Howard trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Howard is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Thai looking for a guillotine here but Howard defends easily.

Thai has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Howard doesn't defend quickly enough and Thai has managed to lock this one up! Can Howard escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Thai on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Wille Thai!
