The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from SparWrestling. Africanus does a little dance to reset his feet. SparWrestling shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Africanus manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Africanus bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in SparWrestling's guard. Africanus postures up in SparWrestling's guard and throws a big left but SparWrestling blocks it. SparWrestling utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Africanus is looking to work some ground and pound but SparWrestling has wrist control. Africanus throws a big right hand that misses. Africanus trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. SparWrestling not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Africanus postures up in SparWrestling's guard and throws a big left but SparWrestling blocks it. SparWrestling working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Africanus. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if SparWrestling can do anything to dispel that myth.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Africanus throws a head kick that misses. SparWrestling throws out a token jab with nothing on it. SparWrestling takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Africanus goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Tiny SparWrestling has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Africanus throws a sloppy head kick and SparWrestling moves out of range easily. Africanus misses with a head kick.
SparWrestling decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Africanus tries to roll over but SparWrestling keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Africanus gets full guard. SparWrestling has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Africanus is proving hard to escape from. Africanus looking to sweep here. No luck so far. SparWrestling wants to pass the guard but Africanus is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Africanus is looking to sinch up a triangle. SparWrestling throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Africanus's body to avoid the submission. Africanus has instead reached around SparWrestling's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Africanus arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! LeGuerre tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Halipois paws at him with a jab and circles away. Halipois looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! LeGuerre waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Halipois. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Halipois to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

It looks like Joshua Halipois has been cut. LeGuerre is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Halipois is still in real trouble! Can LeGuerre finish him? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. LeGuerre pushes down on Halipois's leg and manages to get into half guard. Halipois seems to have recovered his senses. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! LeGuerre working Halipois over with strikes. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rock rushes Gould and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Gould looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Rock trying to stall but Gould improves his position.
Rock has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Gould uses from the top position. Gould drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rock dives on top into guard. Gould keeping moving, preventing Rock from controlling successfully. Rock is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rock accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rock content to stall in guard here.

Rock sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Gould is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Nathan Gould seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rock fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Rock looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Gould doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rock counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Rock lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gould swats away the attempt to clinch by Rock. Gould misses with a takedown attempt and Rock counters with a one-two to the body.

Gould seems to have locked his on tight now - Rock screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Gould, as he picks up the win!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rose looks to land a combination. Harris sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Harris shoots in looking for a takedown. Rose tries to sprawl out of it but Harris keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rose manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nice sprawl there from Rose as Harris shoots in. Rose misses with a hook. Harris is rocked! Rose would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Harris is still in real trouble! Can Rose finish him? Rose missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Harris keeping full guard, as Rose tries to pass. Harris seems to have recovered his senses. Rose trying to control but Harris is working from the bottom.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Africanus stalks Knox and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Knox's face. Knox staggers backwards, shaken. Knox fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Africanus scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Africanus cracks a nice hook into Knox's ribs. A right-left combo lands from Africanus. Africanus lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
