Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Potato Squash (ranked 5672 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tor KillsInWater (ranked 24127 p4p, 0 weight class). Tor KillsInWater told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 2 losses; Tor KillsInWater! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. KillsInWater looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. KillsInWater shoots in but no luck this time. KillsInWater fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Squash drops down looking for a counter takedown but KillsInWater sprawls and moves away. Potato Squash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tor KillsInWater. KillsInWater looks for a takedown but Squash sprawls well. Squash keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. KillsInWater shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Squash looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. KillsInWater manages to work his way to half guard, despite Squash's best efforts. Squash is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. KillsInWater doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Squash. Squash wants to take a breather but KillsInWater is having none of it.
That's six minutes gone in the round. KillsInWater has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Squash is working away from the top position though. KillsInWater wants to improve his position but Squash is controlling well.

That's seven minutes gone in the round. KillsInWater is refusing to be controlled, as Squash sits in half guard. KillsInWater won't allow Squash to pass to mount. Squash has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can KillsInWater defend it? Squash steps over the head and cranks it - KillsInWater is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Squash!

The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Smoove tries to clinch there but Devil circles away.

Smoove tries to clinch but Devil moves out of range. Devil swats away the attempt to clinch by Smoove. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Devil clinches up with Smoove and pushes him back against the cage. Devil gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Smoove (0) vs (2) Devil Devil drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Devil jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Devil works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Devil moves into full mount! Smoove won't be happy about that! Score +3 for passing guard: Smoove (0) vs (5) Devil Smoove wants to hold on but Devil pushes him away. Smoove has left one of his arms exposed and Devil doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Smoove screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
