The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Active moves out of range as Princip strikes.
Active slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Princip throws a looping overhand right but Active ducks down to avoid it.

It looked like Active was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Active takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Active looks to score with a jab to the body but Princip is just out of range.

Active gets a takedown into half guard.
Active landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Active is nestled in close to Princip, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Active wants to lay and pray for a moment but Princip keeps working.
Active working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Princip is trying to stand up here but Active is controlling him well.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Active content to control rather than advance.

Active is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Louis Princip dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Princip has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Nice uppercut lands for Princip. That snapped Active's head back.

Active lands a left and a right that send Princip crashing to the mat, dazed. Active thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Princip is rocked!

and Active counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.

Radio Active retains his lightweight title!
After the fight, Radio Active was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Louis Princip was interviewed post fight and said 'Oh no, I lost! I'm not gonna get cut am I?'.
