The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Cole darts in and clinches Squash up against the cage. Cole turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Cole manages to end up in side control. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Cole (4) vs (0) Squash The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Squash tries to buck Cole off but Cole is having none of it. Cole wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Squash, who protects the arm well. Cole controls the position. Cole could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Cole in the domination position with Squash hanging on. Squash sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Squash moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 3 losses; James Crazyhorse!
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Crazyhorse closes the distance and clinches up with Kraulthammer, looking for a takedown. Crazyhorse pushes Kraulthammer against the cage but Kraulthammer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kraulthammer drives through with a takedown into guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Kraulthammer (2) vs (0) Crazyhorse Kraulthammer sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Crazyhorse's guard. Kraulthammer is figuring out what he wants to do next. Kraulthammer has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Crazyhorse defend it? Kraulthammer steps over the head and cranks it - Crazyhorse is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Kraulthammer!

The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Devil closes the distance and pushes Submission back into the cage. Devil gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Submission (0) vs (2) Devil Devil looking to pass the guard. Devil must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Devil drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Devil jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Submission trying to keep a closed guard but Devil is proving a slippery customer.

The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Sulvar fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Nice sprawl there from Thai as Sulvar shoots in. Sulvar gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Thai counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Thai. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tres Sulvar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Thai has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Sulvar regains guard immediately.
