The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ishii tried to score with a low kick but Takemura checks it. Takemura jabs Ishii to the body, keeping him at a distance. Ishii looks winded! Takemura throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Ishii closes the distance looking to clinch letting Takemura counter with a right hand. Ishii throws a series of punches but Takemura avoids them all with ease. Ishii throws a leg kick but Takemura checks it. Takemura sizes up Ishii with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Takemura scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ishii doesn't seem bothered though. Takemura throws a body shot but no joy. Ishii misses with a leg kick. Ishii walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takemura sizes up Ishii with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Takemura scores with a nice strike. Takemura lands with a right hand. Takemura scores with a big combo that sends Ishii crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but the referee has seen enough as Ishii flops around uncontrollably and he's called an end to the fight! Takemura jumps onto the ropes and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Gross.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab from Bouya. Yudthangarngamtorn thows a left - swing and a miss! Bouya's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Bouya duly obliges. Bouya circles away from the clinch attempt and Bouya counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Bouya swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Yudthangarngamtorn. A head kick misses from Yudthangarngamtorn. Yudthangarngamtorn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Yudthangarngamtorn lands with a slapping head kick. Nice body kick there by Yudthangarngamtorn. Yudthangarngamtorn looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bouya is looking to chop away at Yudthangarngamtorn's legs. Bouya tests Yudthangarngamtorn's chin there with a solid looking shot.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Po is looking to clinch. A quick step to the side and Destroyer tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Destroyer keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Po. Destroyer half committed to a counter leg kick. Po attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Po pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Destroyer lands the left hand.
That has opened up Tong Po's cut even more. Po falls off balance throwing a combination
and Po takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Po is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Po keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

The cut above Tong Po's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Po misses with an uppercut
and Destroyer counters with a nice uppercut. Tong Po is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A very excited looking Chicken Destroyer made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. In defeat, Tong Po stepped up to the mic, saying 'I live by the sword I die by the sword, Whatever happened has happened, no looking back now, the moment is gone...'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A shot to the liver by Cathaway. Beautiful body shot. Cornell throws a nice outside leg kick. Cornell thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Cathaway if he has to take too many more of those.
Cornell looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Cathaway flicks out a counter leg kick but Cornell steps away. Cathaway moves out of range of the leg kick from Cornell. Cornell lands a leg kick that knocks Cathaway off balance momentarily. Cathaway looks to throw the jab but Cornell is out of range. Cathaway thows a left - swing and a miss! A slapping body kick lands there for Cornell. Cathaway throws a leg kick that is checked and Cornell counters with an outside leg kick.

Cathaway looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. A nice inside leg kick there by Cornell. That's going to slow Cathaway down. Cathaway walks into a left hand. Cathaway misses with a left hand and Cornell connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Cathaway moves away from the strike by Cornell. Cathaway connects nicely with a jab. Cathaway throws a leg kick and Cornell counters with a body kick that stops Cathaway in his tracks momentarily. Some bone on bone action there as Cornell checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Cathaway throws an off balance right hand
and Cornell counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Cathaway on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Cornell checks a low kick from Cathaway. Cornell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cathaway moves away. Cornell is looking to slow Cathaway down with leg kicks. Cathaway is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. A thudding body kick lands there by Cornell!
Cathaway walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Cornell swings for the body but Cathaway moves out of range.

Cathaway misses with a looping left. Cornell seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Cathaway takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
That has opened up Jimmy Cathaway's cut even more. Cornell moves out of range of the strikes. An attempted straight right counter from Cornell misses the target. Cornell is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Cathaway can do to turn this around?

A slow jab from Cathaway misses its intended target. Cornell ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Cornell throws a push kick but Cathaway slaps the foot to one side. Cathaway misses the body punch and Cornell counters with a stiff right hand. Cornell throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Cornell clobbers Cathaway with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Cathaway tests Cornell's chin there with a solid looking shot. Cornell throws an off balance right hand
and Cathaway cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Cathaway tries to work over Cornell's front leg with a kick but Cornell checks it. Cathaway on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Cathaway has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Cornell. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cathaway tests Cornell's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Cornell is rocked! Cornell misses with a kick to the body.
Oh Cornell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cathaway gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Cathaway is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Cornell seems to have got his legs back now.
The cut above Jimmy Cathaway's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Cornell bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Cornell throws a sloppy head kick and Cathaway counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Cathaway chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Cornell can pounce on him.
Cathaway's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Cathaway misses with an uppercut
and Cornell counters with a solid body kick. Cathaway with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cornell to score with a decent uppercut. Cornell is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Cornell cracks Cathaway with a right hand to the side of the head.
Cathaway is rocked! Cathaway misses with a looping right. Cornell closes the distance and catches Cathaway with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Cathaway is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Cathaway is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Cathaway is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Cornell takes it!

A relieved looking Tony Cornell thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
