The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doyle dives in and grabs Brsye's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brsye pushes down on Doyle's head and hops out.
Doyle tries for a takedown but Brsye circles away easily
and Brsye makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Brsye manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
I was talking to Brsye's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Brsye's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Brsye defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Doyle.
Michal Brsye has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stewart Doyle.

Doyle changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Brsye looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Doyle has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Brsye is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Doyle yanks on the arm and Brsye is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Doyle.
