The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brandt moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Brandt could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Brandt showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bishop.
Bishop with a nice cross.
Brandt drops his hands momentarily and Bishop takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Danga de danga de dang - Bishop scores with a four punch combination!
Bishop tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brandt paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bishop misses with a series of wild punches.
Brandt feinted with a counter takedown.
A lazy left from Bishop finds it's target.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Brandt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brandt controls the position.
Brandt seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bishop for as long as he can get away with.

Bishop is wriggling around trying to escape but Brandt has hooked up a rear naked choke! Is it over??? Is it... you're damn right it is! Bishop taps out and Brandt picks up the big win! Great work there by Brandt!

Bull throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Doner tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bull is in Doner's guard.
Bull controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Doner can't keep his opponent in guard - Bull advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Bull is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Doner defends it well.
Bull is looking to advance position but Doner won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bull works his way into side control.

Bull wants to lay and pray for a moment but Doner keeps working.

Bull in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Doner tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Bull!

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Bird might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Boovaine has got the better of the exchanges.

Bird shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Boovaine sprawls well. Boovaine wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bird gets slowly back to his feet.
Troll Boovaine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Geezer Bird.
Boovaine lands with a kick to the temple. Bird shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Jakes defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Adamek.
Jakes throws a quick counter head kick but Adamek was just out of range.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Adamek enables Jakes to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Adamek manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Jakes chips away with some ground and pound.

Jakes is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Adamek has his feet on Jakes's thighs here. He's pushed Jakes off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Jakes screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Terranova drops back, looking for a kneebar! Okafor looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Okafor looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Okafor!

Okafor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Terranova has his hands on Okafor's head, controlling the position.
Terranova bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Okafor's guard.

I would just about give that final round to Riley Oconner.
