The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alan instigates a clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Alan fails to land.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kurtev closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Ison tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Ison manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Kurtev scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Kurtev looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ison with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Ison is staying active underneath Kurtev, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Ison is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kurtev pulls his head out easily.
Kurtev seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kurtev connects with a nice short shot to Ison's temple.

Cabrera cracks Harris with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Harris falls to his knees and Cabrera doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Heller Cabrera! Heller Cabrera retains his featherweight title!
Heller Cabrera decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
