That sent Chuckwu stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. A big left from Carnero misses. Carnero moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromChuckwu. Carnero lands with a nice body punch. Carnero misses with a straight right. Chuckwu closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Chuckwu fails with a takedown attempt. Chuckwu moves out of range as Carnero strikes. Carnero gets caught napping as Chuckwu dives in and scores a takedown. Carnero manages to retain guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chuckwu seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chuckwu's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Carnero is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Carnero has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
