The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gull manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Smith on his heels. He'll look to pass Smith's guard now, I'm sure.
Gull throws a strike but Smith rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Smith trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gull tries to close the distance and clinch but Smith swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Adamek drops his hands for a split second and Mardle immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Adamek face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Mardle follows up with a right hand that knocks Adamek into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
