Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Randy is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ford doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Randy throws a leg kick that misses. Randy misses with a jab, cross combination.
Randy is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Randy just misses with a punch to the body.

Ngo throws a big shot that misses. A little jabbing left from Takemura on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. This has been an exciting period of action! Ngo throws a leg kick and Takemura cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Ngo scoring well with a low kick there.

I think Rizalia might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ballad of a dead soulja by tupac. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Cartagena scores with a big combo that sends Rua crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but the referee has seen enough as Rua flops around uncontrollably and he's called an end to the fight! Cartagena jumps onto the ropes and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Gross.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lorenzo Turturro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 34 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, John Brophy! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brophy works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Brophy misses with a hook. Turturro throws a body shot but no joy. Brophy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Brophy looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Brophy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Turturro finds it's way round the side to connect with Brophy's head. Turturro uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. A swing and a miss from Brophy. Turturro connects with a looping right hand.
Turturro throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Brophy stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Turturro connects with a looping right hand.
Turturro misses the shot to the body. Brophy throws a big shot that misses. Turturro misses the body punch and Brophy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Turturro on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Brophy. Brophy obviously looking to wear him down.
Turturro slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A punch lands to the side of Brophy 's head but he takes it in his stride. Brophy throws a hook to the side of Turturro's head but Turturro sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.  That's two minutes gone in the round. Turturro ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brophy moves away. Turturro lands a jab to the nose. We've been informed that Brophy has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Brophy misses with a hook. Turturro tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brophy was well out of range. Poor timing from Turturro. Turturro throws a body shot but no joy. Turturro gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Turturro scores with a jab to the body. Turturro smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Brophy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Brophy avoids the body shot from Turturro.

Turturro throws the left hand but Brophy avoids the punch easily. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Lorenzo Turturro dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

That kick from Brophy tenderised Turturro's leg. Turturro is trying to keep his angry face on. Brophy keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Turturro. Turturro moves out of range of the strikes. Turturro throws a body shot but no joy. Turturro cracks Brophy with a right hand to the side of the head. Brophy throws a wild body kick that Turturro sees coming a mile off. Brophy takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Brophy tries a low kick but Turturro avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brophy connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Turturro scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. The fighters circling - Turturro throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Turturro misses with a shot to the body letting Brophy counter with a right hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Brophy.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Turturro walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Turturro is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!

and Po connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Canchola throws a combination. Po tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Po gets in close and instigates a clinch. Po lands with a light punch inside. Canchola wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Po lands with a light punch inside. Po lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Canchola tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Po lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Po on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
